Steps:

Put rice on to cook. While it's cooking slice as many hot dogs as you have (lets say ½ pound or more) into pennies, about ½ inch thick. Dice 1 green pepper. Dice onion. Combine all the above, heat, while the rice is cooking.

2 cups instant rice
2 cups water
1/2 pound hot dogs
3/4 cup diced green bell pepper
3/4 cup diced onion
1 can stewed tomatoes, undrained

Steps:

Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in the rice, bring to a boil again, then reduce the temperature to a simmer. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes until the water is mostly absorbed, then turn off the heat and let the rice sit, covered, until all the water has been absorbed. Meanwhile, slice the hot dogs into 1/2-inch rounds. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork then stir in the hot dogs, green pepper, onion, and stewed tomatoes. Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring gently, until all is heated through. Serve hot.

1/2 green pepper, diced
2 cups minute rice
1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups hot water
2-8 ounce or 1-15 ounce can(s) tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

Saute first 4 ingredients in butter until lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
