Steps:
- Melt 2 parts soy wax to 3 parts paraffin wax in a double boiler. Use one of the long sticks to stir the mixture. Tie wick to the other long stick. Measure the wick once it is tied so it reaches to the bottom of the Mason jar. Dip the wick 2 - 3 times in the hot wax. Wait 5 seconds between each dip. This will keep the wick straight and prevent it from floating in the wax. Let it dry. Place the wick on the stick in the Mason jar with the stick lying across the top. Pour the hot wax in the jar until just below the rim. Let cool 24 to 36 hours depending on the size of the jar. Trim the wick 1/2 inch.

- Melt the soy candle wax. Pour your 1 lb (16 oz) bag of Golden Brands 464 soy wax flakes into the pouring pitcher. Begin to melt the wax with a double boiler or hot plate.
- Prepare your jars. While your wax melts, wipe out your Straight Sided Tumbler Jars with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol and a clean paper towel.
- Add the candle dye block and fragrance oil to your melted wax. Once your wax is fully melted, add half of a Caribbean Blue dye block to the wax and stir.
- Pour the wax into the prepared candle jar. When the wax cools to 135°F, carefully pour the wax into the jars. Secure the wick with a wick bar. Allow your candles to fully cool.
- Trim the candle wick & enjoy! Once your candles have cooled completely, remove the wick bars and trim the wicks to 1/4 in. Place a warning label on the bottom of each candle.
