SOUTHERN TURNIP GREENS & SAUSAGE
Greens with a twist. I never really like greens till I started adding different flavors.

Steps:
- 1. Add sausage, onion, bell pepper, and garlic to a deep skillet.
- 2. Cook until the sausage is nice and brown.
- 3. Then add turnip greens, broth, and tomatoes.
- 4. Then let it all simmer for 30 minutes on low heat.
TURNIP SAUSAGE STEW
"This is a delicious stew," says Carma Blosser of Livermore, Colorado. "The sausage and turnips give it really special flavor." A slice of crusty bread makes a great mop to clean up any remaining broth!

- In a large saucepan, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Add the potatoes, carrots, turnip, onion, water, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in tomatoes; heat through.

- Bring chicken broth, water, oil, salt, and pepper to a boil in a stockpot. Add turnip greens and sugar and return to a boil; reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring every 15 minutes, until greens are tender, at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

TURNIP GREEN SOUP
This recipe was given to me by my aunt. I've never heard of it before but it is really good. A mixture of turnip greens, northern beans, kielbasa sausage, and seasonings. Great served with cornbread.

- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir kielbasa and onion in the hot oil until the onion is tender, 5 to 7 minutes; set aside.
- Stir chicken broth, turnip greens, great Northern beans, vegetable soup mix, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, Creole seasoning, salt, and black pepper together in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir kielbasa mixture into the boiling broth mixture, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook at a simmer for 2 hours.
