SOUTHERN GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE
Green bean casserole is one of my favorite foods and something I always look forward to as the holidays approach. Recently, I've discovered that I can cook it more than twice a year- just because it goes nicely with dinner! This Southern-style recipe is not your typical green bean casserole, but I promise it won't disappoint- mainly because of a lot of wiggle room to account for individual taste. (Note: this recipe makes 12 servings, so it's great for gatherings, but you can easily half all of the ingredients for your typical family dinner)

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Saute onion with garlic and bacon.
- Cut bacon into 1/2 inch pieces.
- Empty 4 cans cut Green Beans into 9 x 13 casserole dish.
- Combine 2 cans condensed Cream of Mushroom soup with milk, salt, pepper, brown sugar, onion and bacon.
- Pour soup mixture over Green Beans and mix well.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through.
- Stir and top with 1 cup French's Fried Onions.
- Return to oven and bake 5 more minutes or until onions are golden.
