Baked Potatoes With Meat Sauce image

One-meal dish! Juicy and Cheesy for a night of comfort food! Large baking potatoes filled with tomato meat sauce and topped with melted cheddar cheese. Great for using leftover spaghetti sauce!

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 large baking potatoes
1 (32 ounce) marinara sauce
1/2 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Place baking potatoes in a large covered dish with 1/2 cup water. Prick potatoes with end of knife 5-6 times. Microwave potatoes until tender.
  • In large saucepan, brown ground beef and onion. Drain well.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and let simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  • Cut potatoes open to within 1 inch from bottom. Salt potatoes. Ladle meat sauce onto potatoes. Top with cheese and place in microwave for 40 seconds or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

4 baking potato es (1-1/4 lb.)
1/4 cup OSCAR MAYER Real Bacon Bits
1/2 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa
1 cup frozen corn, thawed
1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips
1 cup KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese

Steps:

  • Pierce potatoes with fork or sharp knife. Microwave on HIGH 15 min. or until tender.
  • Place 1 potato on each of 4 microwaveable plates; cut lengthwise in half. Top evenly with remaining ingredients.
  • Microwave, in batches, 2 min. or until cheese is melted and remaining toppings are heated through.

6 medium baking potatoes
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 cup shredded taco cheese, mix
1 (6 ounce) container frozen avocado dip, thawed
3/4 cup thick & chunky salsa
3/4 cup sour cream

Steps:

  • Scrub potatoes, cut in half lengthwise.
  • In a small bowl combine oil, garlic and red pepper. Brush cut surfaces of potatoes with oil mixture.
  • On a charcoal grill, grill potatoes cut side down over open grill for 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender; turning once half way through. For gas grill cook over medium heat cut side down on rack and cover closed.
  • Carefully scoop out the insides of each potato half, leaving 1/2 to 1/4 inch shell. Brush remainder of oil on potato shells, sprinkle with cheese and return potatoes to grill cut side up for 5 to 7 minutes more or until cheese is melted. Serve with avocado dip, salsa and sour cream.
  • Can also top with bacon bits and parsley.

1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 pkg. (1-1/4 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix
1 red pepper, sliced
2 green onions, sliced

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Place potatoes in 13x9-inch microwaveable baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; cover. Microwave on HIGH 10 min.
  • Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet; drain. Stir meat, sour cream, cheese and seasoning mix into potatoes; top with peppers.
