Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons buttermilk
2 cups confectioners' sugar
3 (2 1/8 ounce) Snickers candy bars, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°F
Line a 9 inch baking pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Lightly grease foil.
In a large boil, combine butter and sugar. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until combined. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Spread chocolate frosting over hot cake. Let cool completely. Cut into squares to serve.
Chocolate Frosting:.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium low heat. Add cocoa and buttermilk, whisking until cocoa dissolves.
Gradually whisk in confectioners' sugar until smooth. Stir in snickers bars. Immediately spread over hot cake.

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter or 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
3 regular sized Snickers candy bars, chopped
16 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
2 (6 ounce) chocolate cookie pie crust or 2 (6 ounce) graham cracker pie crust

Steps:

In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and peanut butter until creamy.
Stir in chopped candy bars.
Gently fold in the Cool Whip just until mixed.
Pour into crusts and refrigerate overnight.

Spray a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray; set aside. If you don’t have one, a 9-inch square pan would likely work, although I have not tested it. Do not use a 9-inch traditional pie dish because it will be too shallow.
Crush cookies by placing them in a food processor and processing until they’re a fine dust, noting that the filling may melt a bit which is okay. Using a Vita-Mix is not ideal because it will melt the cookies before it will crush them, and you will have to work in batches, tamping down frequently. Crushing cookies in a large Ziplock and rolling over it with a rolling pin may work, provided you take your time and make sure the cookies are broken down into a fine dust. Set crumbs aside.
Add the cookie crumbs to the butter, and stir to combine. Mixture will be thick, slugdy, and fudgy.
