2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground mustard
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 pork chops (3/4 inch thick)
1 -2 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons ground mustard
1 cup water
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons orange marmalade
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients.
  • Dredge pork chops in flour mixture.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown chops in oil on both sides, about 8 minutes.
  • Combine the sauce ingredients; pour over chops.
  • Cover, reduce heat, and simmer until meat is tender, about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Spoon sauce over chops when serving.

6 (3/4 inch) pork chops
1 cup pineapple juice
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons cider vinegar

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, brown pork chops on both sides and place in a 5 quart slow cooker.
  • Combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, and vinegar and mix well.
  • Pour brown sugar-vinegar mixture over pork chops.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  • Serve over hot cooked noodles.

6 pork chops
3 tablespoons butter, mixed with
1 tablespoon oil, for frying
2 tablespoons water
1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained (reserve the juice)
1 can condensed condensed golden mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 lb fresh mushrooms
salt and pepper
3 cups hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • In a skillet, melt butter with oil.
  • Brown the pork chops on both sides.
  • Remove, set aside.
  • Add the water, scraping any browned bits.
  • Drain the tomatoes, reserving the juice; set tomatoes aside.
  • Add the tomatoes, the juice from the tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, soup, onion, mustard, salt and pepper to the skillet; mix well.
  • Return the chops to the skillet.
  • Cover, and simmer for 30 mins, or until the chops are tender, (don't overcook the chops, as they will be dry).
  • Note; if desired, 2-3 cloves of fresh minced garlic may be added.
