SAVORY SKILLET NOODLES
"My daughter is a vegetarian, so I created this colorful side dish to serve with vegetables. She asks for it once a week," says Lucille Goers of Seminole, Florida. Chopped sweet peppers, onion and almonds accent the mild buttery noodles.

- Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, saute the mushrooms, peppers and onion in butter until tender. Drain noodles; add to skillet. Sprinkle with almonds and bouillon; toss gently to combine. Heat through. Garnish with parsley.

SAVORY CHICKEN NOODLE BAKE
A nice casserole dish for a weeknight supper. Homey comfort food at it's best. You can add some extra and/or even different cheeses to this before putting it into the oven.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350° & grease a 2 1/2- to 3-quart baking dish.
- In large skillet or saucepan over low heat, melt butter; sauté mushrooms until tender.
- Blend in flour, stirring until smooth and bubbly.
- Gradually add chicken broth, milk, pimiento, and salt and pepper; stir constantly until sauce is thickened.
- Stir in chicken, peas, and 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese.
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish; sprinkle some Parmesan cheese over top.
- Bake chicken noodle casserole 20 to 25 minutes, until hot and bubbly.

SAVORY CHICKEN AND BROTH
This is a basic chicken broth recipe. You can use the broth in recipes calling for canned chicken broth. The beer really gives it a richer and fuller flavor...more savory. You can use the chicken for chicken sandwiches or in recipes calling for cooked chicken. You can also make a good soup with it. Just add your noodles and/or vegetables to it. The seaonings measurements are approximate.

Steps:
- Remove skin and fat from the chicken thighs.
- Place on the bottom of a slow cooker/crock pot.
- Sprinkle the salt, pepper, thyme leaves, celery seeds and poultry seasoning over the chicken pieces.
- Mix together until chicken pieces are coated with the seasonings.
- Pour in the canned chicken broth and beer and stir well.
- Cook on high for 3 or 4 hours or until chicken is tender and falling off the bones.
- Allow to cool before deboning the thighs and store in a container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- Pour the broth into a glass jar and store in refrigerator until ready to use.

- In a large stock pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles according to package directions for al dente noodles. Drain, rinse, and pour into prepared casserole dish. Set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, stirring frequently. Butter will begin to foam and boil. After 4 to 5 minutes you will see brown flecks appear in the bottom of the pan. Continue to stir until butter is golden and flecks are a medium brown color. Watch closely - butter will brown quickly. Process takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, add eggs and whisk to combine. Add sour cream, cottage cheese, salt, pepper, thyme, and sage. Whisk to combine. Last, add your brown butter (including the browned bits at the bottom of the pan) and stir to combine.
