CLASSIC MARGARITA

Steps:

• Moisten rim of 1 cocktail glass with lime wedge. If desired, sprinkle salt on a plate; dip rim in salt. Fill glass with ice. In an empty cocktail shaker, combine tequila, Triple Sec and lime juice. Fill with ice; cover and shake until frost forms on the outside of the shaker, 15-20 seconds. Strain into prepared glass. Garnish with lime wedge.

CLASSIC MARGARITAS

Steps:

• Rub the rim of 4 rocks glasses with lime; dip in coarse salt. Fill three-quarters of the way with ice. Combine 1 cup tequila, 2/3 cup fresh lime juice, 1/3 cup orange-flavored liqueur and 2 teaspoons superfine sugar in a cocktail shaker. Shake well, then pour into the glasses. Garnish with lime.

CLASSIC MARGARITA

Steps:

• Sprinkle a few teaspoons of salt over the surface of a small plate or saucer. Rub one wedge of lime along the rim of a tumbler and then dip it into the salt so that the entire rim is covered.
• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add the tequila, lime juice and triple sec. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
• Strain the mix into the prepared glass over fresh ice. Serve with a wedge of lime.

CLASSIC MARGARITA

Steps:

• Shake the tequila, Cointreau and lime juice in a shaker with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass (rim with salt, if desired). Garnish with a lime wheel.

CLASSIC MARGARITA

Steps:

• For the rim: Moisten the rim of the glasses with lime wedges and dip in the salt.
• For the margarita: Combine the tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur and agave syrup in a large pitcher. Stir vigorously to combine. Pour over ice in the salt-rimmed glasses, garnish with a slice of lime and serve immediately.

CLASSIC MARGARITA

Steps:

• Combine 1 3/4 cups silver tequila, 1 cup fresh lime juice, 3/4 cup light agave syrup and 1/3 cup water in a pitcher; stir. (You can refrigerate the drink up to 1 day ahead.) Serve over ice in salt-rimmed glasses; garnish with lime wedges.
