1 lb smoked sausage
1 lb bow tie noodles
2 lb potatoes
salt,pepper and parsley to tast

Steps:

  • Peel and cut potatoes into large hunks. In a large pot, boil enough water to cover potatoes, and rest of ingredients when added. Boil potatoes for about 8 minutes then add sausage and noodles. Boil until potatoes and noodles are soft, but not mushy. Meanwhile, using about 8 oz of water, mix with enough flour to make a thick mixture, add the spices to this. Add this to the mixture in the pot to thicken up. Season with more salt and pepper if needed.

3/4 lb Italian sausage
1 (28 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms (we use Prego)
1 (19 ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degree F.
  • Remove sausage from casings.
  • Brown sausage in a skilled, stirring to separate meat.
  • Rinse and drain the grease off of the sausage.
  • Add the spaghetti sauce, beans and thyme to the sausage in the skillet.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the mozarella cheese.
  • Pour the mixture into a medium size, round oven proof skillet or pie dish.
  • Unroll the crescent dough; divide into triangles.
  • Arrange in a spiral with points of dough towards the center, covering the sausage mixture completely.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

16 fresh pork sausage links (about 1 pound)
1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
1/2 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon canola oil
3 cups cooked long grain rice
4 to 5 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 package (10 ounces) frozen corn, thawed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 cup soft bread crumbs
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Steps:

  • Place sausages on a rack in a baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned and no longer pink. Cut into 1-in. pieces; set aside. , In a large skillet, saute peppers in oil for 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Transfer to a 3-qt. baking dish. Add the sausages and the next eight ingredients. , Combine bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over top. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30-40 minutes or until heated through.

2 tsp olive oil
1 small onion , chopped
6 pork sausages
250g chestnut mushroom , halved
1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
4 tbsp low-fat crème fraîche
small bunch parsley , chopped
85g ciabatta , torn into small chunks

Steps:

  • Heat half the oil in a large frying pan. Add the onion and cook for 5 mins until softened, then push to one side. Squeeze the meat from the sausages and roll into balls. Add to the pan and fry for 5 mins until golden. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 mins more until softened.
  • Season, then stir in the mustard, crème fraîche and 4 tbsp water. Bubble for 2 mins, then remove from the heat and scatter in the parsley.
  • Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Transfer sausage mixture to 2 small pie dishes or 1 large baking dish. Toss the ciabatta in the remaining oil, scatter over the top of the pies and bake for 20 mins until golden and bubbling.

1/3 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon butter
3/4 cup milk
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
3 eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt (use less if the sausage is salty)
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (9 inch) deep dish pie shells, partially baked and cooled

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°.
  • In a heavy skillet over medium heat, crumble the sausage with a fork.
  • Sauté the sausage until completely cooked.
  • Drain off the fat, remove the sausage, and set aside.
  • Melt the butter in another skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté the onions in the butter until tender.
  • Add the milk and heat until steam rises, but do not boil the milk.
  • Cut the cream cheese into small pieces, add it to the onion mixture, and remove the pan from the heat.

½ (17.5 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon herbes de Provence

½ cup all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 (14 ounce) package Smoked link sausage, pork
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 cup frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 large egg, beaten

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Roll out puff pastry to the dimensions of the casserole dish, adding 1 inch on all sides. Cover and place in the refrigerator.
