SAUCY MICROWAVE MEATBALLS

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the egg, onion and salt. Crumble beef over the mixture and mix well. Shape into 1-1/2-in. balls. , Place half of the meatballs in a microwave-safe 2-qt. dish. Cover and microwave on high for 2 to 2-1/2 minutes or until meatballs are firm and no longer pink; drain. Repeat with remaining meatballs. , In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and garlic salt. Cook, uncovered, on high for 30-60 seconds or until sugar is dissolved, stirring every 15 seconds. Pour over meatballs. Cover and microwave at 50% power for 3-4 minutes or until heated through. Serve with spaghetti.

MICROWAVE MEATBALLS

Steps:

• Mix ground meat, bread crumbs, water, basil, oregano, parsley, garlic powder, and egg.
• Form mixture into about 15 meatballs.
• Put meatballs in a microwave safe baking dish.
• Cover with spaghetti sauce and parmesan cheese.
• Cover dish with plastic wrap and microwave at 70% power for 12 minutes.
• Uncover; add Mozzarella cheese.
• Microwave at 70% power for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Steps:

• Prepare a bowl and mix the beef, onions, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, ketchup, cheese, and mix well.
• Add an egg and mix well. The egg becomes an adhesive to keep the mixture sticky.
• Take a spoonful and roll this into a ball. Smaller balls can cook faster.
• Place these in a microwavable plate. Heat this in the microwave for 4 - 5 minutes. Microwaves have different temperature settings; make sure that the beef has changed to a light brown color inside before serving.
• Drizzle with ketchup or tonkatsu sauce before serving.
