BACON SALISBURY STEAK

- In a small skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Meanwhile, place beef mix in a small bowl; stir in parsley and onion. Shape into a patty; coat with flour. Using a slotted spoon, remove bacon to paper towel to drain., In the drippings, brown the patty on both sides. Add gravy and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Top with bacon.

- In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Meanwhile, place beef mix in a large bowl; stir in parsley and onion. Shape into four patties; coat with flour. Using a slotted spoon, remove bacon to paper towel to drain; keep warm., In the drippings, brown patties on both sides, about 5 minutes. Add gravy and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. Top with bacon.

SUNNY'S EASY BACON CHEESEBURGER SALISBURY STEAKS
Steps:
- For the Salisbury steaks: In a large bowl, add the chuck, breadcrumbs, mustard, ketchup, onion pulp, salt and a few hefty grinds of black pepper and gently mix to combine. Divide into fourths and make four 1/2- to 3/4-inch-thick oval burgers; set aside.
- In a large pan with straight sides on medium heat, add the bacon and cook until crisp, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the bacon fat in the pan. Cool the bacon, then chop.
- In the same pan, turn the heat to high and add the formed burgers. Sear on one side for a few minutes, then remove to a plate.
- For the sauce: In the same pan, add the beef stock and scrape up any bits. Add the heavy cream and American cheese and stir. Bring to a boil. Stir in the noodles. Nestle the burgers into the noodles and sauce, cover, lower the heat to a simmer and cook until the burgers are done and the noodles are cooked, about 10 minutes. Stir in the parsley and bacon.
- Serve family style or place a burger on a plate with noodles and serve topped with sauce.
SALISBURY STEAK WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE
This is wonderful served with mashed potatoes, noodles or rice. You can also make Salisbury Pork Chops by using 6 chops each 1/2" thick. Then just cook them for 15-20 minutes in step 5.

Steps:
- Heat oil in large non-stick skillet.
- Cook patties approximately.
- 4 min per side.
- Season with salt& pepper.
- Remove from pan.
- Keep warm.
- Return pan to heat and add butter.
- Cook onions and mushrooms about 5 minutes or until tender.
- Sprinkle with flour.
- Cook 3 minutes longer.
- Add milk, worc.
- sauce, salt, pepper and paprika.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat.
- Cook gently, uncovered, 4-5 minutes.
- Return patties to pan and cook 5 minutes or til cooked through.
- Taste and adjust seasonings, if necessary.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
- **You can use thin minute steaks instead of hamburgers but cook steaks for 2 minutes in step 5 or til cooked through.

Steps:
- In a large skillet cook bacon over moderatly-high heat;cook until crisp and browned, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer bacon to paper towels and set aside; reserve drippings in the skillet.
- Core and seed the bell pepper; cut into strips, add mushrooms, onions and bell pepper to the drippings in the skillet; cook stirring frequently, until crisp tender, about 4 minutes.
- Meanwhile, shape ground beef into 4 oval steaks about 3/4 inch thick; sprinkle on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Transfer vegetables to a warm serving platter, cover and keep warm.
- Cook steaks until they are well browned, about 3 minutes on each side for medium.
- Place the steaks on top of vegetable mixture, cover, and keep them warm; add wine and thyme to the skillet
- Bring mixture to a boil, stirring and scraping bottom of skillet; pour the wine sauce over the steaks; Crumble the bacon over the sauce and Serve.

- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Divide mixture into 4 patties. Pat down until 1/2 inch thick. Heat a skillet on medium heat. Add butter and olive oil. Once butter has melted add patties. Cook 3-5 minutes per side then remove from pan and set aside. Add bacon to pan and cook until fat is rendered out. Add onion and cook onions until lightly brown and beginning to turn translucent. Add beef broth, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5-10 minutes on high, or until mixture has reduced and has begun to thicken. Stir in cornstarch, mixed with a little broth and cook until desired thickness. Add patties back to sauce and heat.
