Yield Makes 6 to 8 drinks

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup crème de cassis
1 1/2 cups assorted berries such as blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries
1 (750-ml) bottle chilled dry rosé wine
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, or to taste

Steps:

  • Put berries into a heatproof pitcher. Bring sugar, water, and crème de cassis just to a simmer in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour syrup into heatproof pitcher and let stand 5 minutes. Add wine and lemon juice and stir mixture well. Chill, covered, until ready to serve. Serve over ice.

1/3 cup orange-flavored vodka
1/4 cup elderflower liqueur (such as St-Germain)
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
1/2 cup diced watermelon
Cold seltzer, for topping

Steps:

  • Combine the rosé, vodka, elderflower liqueur, strawberries and watermelon in a 64-ounce jar. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
  • To serve, pour into glasses filled with ice and top with cold seltzer.

⅓ cup brandy
¼ cup berry-flavored schnapps
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 pint fresh raspberries
2 fresh peaches
½ cup raspberry-flavored seltzer
ice as needed

Steps:

  • Mix wine, brandy, and schnapps together in a large pitcher.
  • Slice strawberries, raspberries, and peaches into medium chunks. Add to the wine mixture. Chill for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours.
  • Pour in seltzer just prior to serving. Serve over ice with fruit added from the pitcher.

1 apple, cubed
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 cup raspberries
1 cup pitted and sliced cherries
1 cup blueberries
1 cup blackberries
¾ cup brandy
2 cups lemon-lime soda

Steps:

  • Mix wine, apple, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, and brandy together in a pitcher; refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Stir lemon-lime soda into wine mixture.
