TOASTED ALMOND DRINK
The Toasted Almond drink is a dessert drink starring amaretto and Kahlua! This recipe is a sweet and creamy showstopper.

Steps:
- Add the vodka, amaretto,, Kahlua and cream to a cocktail shaker. Fill it with ice and shake it until cold.
- Strain the drink into a lowball glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg if desired.
TOASTED ALMOND COCKTAIL
Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- Pour the liqueurs and cream into a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake very well for at least 15 seconds to ensure everything's mixed and the cream becomes frothy.
- Strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.
- Serve and enjoy.

Steps:
- Combine eggs, sugar and salt; beat well. Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth.
- Heat a rosette iron in deep, hot oil (375 degrees) for 2 minutes.
- Drain excess oil from iron. Dip in batter to 1/4 inch from the top of the iron, then dip iron immediately into hot oil (375 degrees).
- Fry rosette until golden, about 30 seconds. Lift out; tip upside down to drain. With fork, push rosette off iron onto a rack placed over paper towels.
- Reheat iron 1 minute; make next rosette.
- Sprinkle rosettes with confectioners' sugar.

- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Sprinkle 1/2 the chocolate and 1/2 the almonds onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Melt sugar and butter together in a stainless steel pan over low heat; increase heat to medium, stirring constantly, until boiling. Heat mixture to 310 degrees F (155 degrees C) or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms hard, brittle threads, 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Pour butter-sugar mixture over chocolate and almonds on baking sheet. Sprinkle remaining chocolate and almonds over butter-sugar mixture. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. Break into pieces.

- In a small bowl, beat eggs and sugar; stir in milk and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to batter until smooth., Heat 2-1/2 in. of oil to 375° in a deep-fat fryer or electric skillet. Place rosette iron in hot oil, then dip in batter, three-fourths up the sides of iron (do not let batter run over top of iron). Immediately place in hot oil; loosen rosette with fork and remove iron. , Fry rosettes, a few at a time, until golden brown, 1-2 minutes on each side. Remove to paper towel-lined wire racks.
