Great protien packed recipe for those who are living la vida lo carb! Makes meal prepping easy as you can refrigerate and microwave some for later! Great recipe for bariatric surgery patients!

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

8 oz part skim milk ricotta cheese
1/2 c parmesan cheese grated/shredded
1 large egg beaten
1 tsp italian seasoning
1/2 c tomato sauce or marinara
1/2 c mozzarella cheese
1/2 lb ground beef

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 450F.
2. (Optional) Brown and season ground grass fed beef or turkey or wherever desired meat Season with salt and pepper
3. Mix ricotta, parmesan, beaten egg & seasonings together, place in an ovenproof dish. (Add optional meat to mix) I added onion powder, garlic powder, season salt, Badia Complete... basically whatever jumps outta the cabinet!
4. Pour sauce/marinara on top, and top with mozzarella.
5. Bake 20-25 min.
