This beloved dessert comes together perfectly with EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk.

Ingredients

1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 ½ cups cold water
1 (4-serving size) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups whipping cream, whipped
36 vanilla wafers
3 medium bananas, sliced and dipped in
lemon juice

Steps:

In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and water. Add pudding mix; beat until well blended. Chill 5 minutes.
Fold in whipped cream. Spoon 1 cup pudding mixture into 2 1/2-quart glass serving bowl.
Top with one-third each of the vanilla wafers, bananas and remaining pudding. Repeat layering twice, ending with pudding mixture. Chill thoroughly. Garnish as desired. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.

Goodness! We made this for a friend's birthday... and folks have been asking us about it ever since! Not only did the Southern birthday boy give it a thumbs-up, but so did every single party guest. Yum!

Ingredients

2 box instant vanilla pudding/pie filling (regular size, not the large box)
3 c milk
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 large container of whipped topping
1 box vanilla wafers
5 bananas

Steps:

1. Combine the pudding with the milk and mix together for approximately 2 minutes.
2. Gradually fold in the sweetened condensed milk.
3. Gradually fold in the whipped topping.
4. Slice bananas into 1/4 inch thickness.
5. Layer a 9 x 13 dish with the vanilla wafers; then the pudding mixture; and then the banana slices. Then repeat for the 2nd layer. You can crush up the remaining vanilla wafers and scatter on the top if you like.
6. Let refrigerate for several hours. Overnite is better, but I have made this early in the morning for a pot-luck at work, and it's great at lunch.

1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk (sweetened condensed, not evaporated milk!)
2 cups whipping cream, whipped (I use 1-2 containers Cool Whip)
1 1/2 cups cold water
36 vanilla wafers, more if desired
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling mix (I also like the banana cream pudding mix)
3 medium bananas, sliced and dipped in
lemon juice

Steps:

In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and water.
Add pudding mix; beat well.
Chill 5 minutes.
Fold in whipped cream.
Spoon 1 cup pudding mixture into 2 ½ quart glass serving bowl.
Top with 1/3 each of the wafers, bananas and pudding.
Repeat layering twice, ending with pudding.
Chill thoroughly.
Garnish as desired.
Refrigerate leftovers.

There are several like this one, but my MIL has made this for years, and it is a real hit for our family. It is also about as rich as we would ever want. It came from the First United Methodist Church of Euless, Texas, cookbook.

12 ounces vanilla wafers
4 -5 medium bananas
2 (3 ounce) boxes instant vanilla pudding
3 cups milk
1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
1 (12 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

Prepare pudding according to package directions, using 3 cups of milk. Add sweetened condensed milk and fold in whipped topping.
Line bottom and sides of a 9X13 inch dish with vanilla wafers. Cover wafers completely with sliced bananas. Overlap them a bit.
Pour prepared pudding mixture over wafers and bananas. Chill and serve.
If desired, layers can be made.

1 can condensed milk
1 (6 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
vanilla wafer
16 ounces Cool Whip
banana
1 1/2 cups water

Steps:

In a mixing bowl, put condensed milk and water.
Add pudding and mix with mixer until blended.
Put in refrigerator for 5 minutes.
Add 1 CUP Cool Whip to mixture and mix with mixer.
Put vanilla wafers in dish, pudding next, sliced bananas and repeat.
Top with Cool Whip.
