- In a small saucepan, heat heavy whipping cream, milk, chocolate and sugar over medium heat just until mixture comes to a simmer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir until smooth. If desired, add rum. Pour into 2 mugs; top with sweetened whipped cream.

- Working in two batches, pulse ingredients in food processor until chocolate is finely ground.
- Store in airtight container for up to 3 months.
- Too make hot cocoa, stir 1/3 cup of the mix into 1 cup of hot (not boiling) milk.
- Top with whipped cream or mini marshmallows and a little chocolate powder. I sometimes use cinnamon or nutmeg powder, instead. A little brandy and a crackling fire make for a real treat!

- 1. Stir and mix all ingredients into a large container.
- 2. The mix makes 1 gallon, plus the cremora jar. Mix and stir very, very well. Place 2-3 Tablespoons of mix in mug and fill with hot water or heat in microwave.
- 3. A scoop of vanilla ice cream makes this a special treat. Add marshmallows to cup before microwaving. Try a dollop of cool whip or a squirt of whipped cream. A quarter teaspoon of instant coffee helps keep the cold out on a chilly night or an early morning.
