This Ranch Crusted Chicken will quickly become one of your favorite crunchy baked chicken recipes. We start with pounded thin chicken breasts, ranch seasoned sour cream then coated in Panko Bread Crumbs before baking. They're so easy and delicious!

1 cup Sour Cream
6 tsp Ranch Dip Seasoning Mix
2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Split each breast in half (like butterflyinand pound to about 1/2" thick. Set aside.
  • Mix together sour cream and seasoning mix in a medium bowl until blended.
  • Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow plate.
  • Dip each piece of chicken in the sour cream mixture, turning to coat.
  • Place the chicken in the breadcrumbs and turn to coat evenly.
  • Place in a shallow rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake 30 minutes, or until an internal temperature is 165.
  • Then broil on high on a lower rack watching closely until tops are golden brown (Watch closely as they can burn quickly).

½ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning, Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix Shaker
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 chicken breasts
6 tablespoons panko crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Combine mayonnaise, ranch seasoning powder and Parmesan cheese in a bowl until well combined.
  • Place chicken breasts on a baking sheet. Spread the mayonnaise mixture over the tops of the chicken; then sprinkle evenly with the panko crumbs.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Serve hot.

1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
½ cup panko bread crumbs
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon seasoning salt (such as Mrs. Dash® garlic and herb)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ cup spicy ranch dressing, or to taste
½ cup buttermilk ranch dressing, or to taste
6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
¼ cup melted butter

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Combine Italian bread crumbs, panko bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, seasoning salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  • Combine spicy ranch dressing and buttermilk ranch dressing in a separate bowl. Dip chicken into dressing until both sides are coated, then coat in bread crumb mixture. Place chicken in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between pieces. Lightly drizzle chicken with melted butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 30 to 35 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Place butter in a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, combine the cornflakes, cheese and salad dressing mix. I find this is best with bone in thighs but it works well with boneless breasts if that is what you prefer. These are great for lunches the next day so if that works for you just increase the recipe. Also great cold for a picnic treat.

8 chicken thighs
1 cup ranch dressing
1 1/2 cups seasoned bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Marinate chicken thighs in ranch dressing for 1 hour.
  • Dredge in bread crumbs and place on foil lined baking sheet.
  • Cook at 400F for 40 minutes.
  • Place on paper towels for a couple of minutes before serving.
  • (If you are using boneless chicken breasts, reduce cooking time to 20 minutes).
  • I prefer Panko crumbs and add pepper and rosemary but any seasoned crumbs you have will work.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
