POMEGRANATE LIME SPRITZERS

Steps:
- Mix vodka and sugar, in the serving glass, stirring well until the sugar is mostly dissolved. Alternatively, you could use a shaker for larger quantities.
- Add pomegranate juice and squeeze in your lime. Then add tonic water and stir.
- Drop in ice cubes and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds, garnish with a lime wedge and serve.

Steps:
- Pour an ounce of pomegranate or cranberry juice in each of 4 highball glasses. Squeeze in the juice from each lime wedge, then drop wedges in glasses. Top with a dash of bitters, add ice, then fill each glass with tonic water to taste (about 6 to 8 ounces a glass). Stir before serving.

Steps:
- Bring cinnamon sticks, ginger, cloves, pomegranate juice, and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan. Cook until reduced to 1½ cups, about 40 minutes. Strain syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a heatproof measuring glass; discard solids. Let cool.
- To serve, pour 1 oz. pomegranate syrup into a tall ice-filled glass. Top off with club soda and stir to combine; garnish with a lemon twist.
- Do Ahead: Syrup can be made 10 days in ahead. Chill in an airtight container.
