tried differnt recipes several times, my husband always said, lacking something, so back to the stove i went, this one, i think he really likes it.

2 pound(s) ground beef
1-29 ounce(s) can of tomato sauce
1-15 ounce(s) can chili beans
1-15 ounce(s) can of dark kidney beans (drained)
1-14 ounce(s) can of crushed tomatoes
1 large onion (chopped)
1 large green pepper (chopped)
1 teaspoon(s) cumin
1 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 teaspoon(s) cilantro, dried
1 teaspoon(s) oregano, dried
1 tablespoon(s) chili powder
1 teaspoon(s) chives, dried
1/3 can(s) armor hot dog chili sauce
1 cup(s) water
- salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • prepare onions and green pepper, clean and chop, set aside, brown ground beef, drain, add onion and peppers, cover, let cook until onion and peppers are tender. in large saucepan, add all ingredients, cover, let simmer for about an hour, taste for seasoniong, enjoy.

Easy Homemade Chili image

Easy homemade chili. Goes great with cornbread or over corn chips for a chili pie! I like to use spicy pinto beans.

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
1 ½ cups water
1 pinch chili powder
1 pinch garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the beef and onion and saute until meat is browned and onion is tender. Add the stewed tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, beans and water.
  • Season with the chili powder, garlic powder, salt and ground black pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.

Great fruity punch with a serious kick!. Be very careful though, it will sneak up on ya! I use a large cooler to mix it in, because it makes five gallons. You can really play with the ingredients, basically just put in whatever you like.

1 gallon 190 proof grain alcohol
1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
2 gallons cherry juice
2 (4 ounce) packets sweetened tropical punch flavored drink mix powder
1 gallon water
6 apples, cored and sliced with peel
6 oranges, sliced into rounds
30 seedless green grapes
20 strawberries, hulled
4 lemons, sliced
4 limes, sliced

Steps:

  • In a 5 gallon container, combine grain alcohol, pineapple juice, cherry juice, drink mix powder and water. Add apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries, lemons and limes. Stir gently and serve.
