1 canned pineapple ring, well drained
2 slices cinnamon-raisin bread
1 KRAFT 2% Milk Singles
2 tsp. soft margarine

Steps:

  • Pat pineapple dry with paper towel. Fill bread slices with pineapple and 2% Milk Singles.
  • Spread outside of sandwich with margarine.
  • Cook in skillet on medium heat 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.

1 cup(s) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened
2 slice(s) hearty white bread
2 slice(s) whole wheat bread
4 ounce(s) butter,soft
FILLING:
1 tablespoon(s) fresh snipped chives
dash(es) paprika
1/4 cup(s) crushed pineapple, very well drained
1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar, firmly packed

Steps:

  • Prepare bread by spreading one side of 2 slices of each type of bread with butter. Use a fork to mix cheddar cheese and cream cheese;blend well. Divide mixture into 2 equal parts and place in small mixing bowl. --- Chive & Cheese: To one of the bowl add the chives and paprika. Spread a generous portion on the unbuttered white slice and spread evenly. Place buttered white slice on top of the filling. Place the sandwich buttered side down in a skillet, Butter top of the bread in the skillet. --- Pineapple & Cheese: To the second bowl add the pineapple and brown sugar, mixing well to blend. Spread a generous portion on the unbuttered side of wheat bread. Place buttered side of bread on top of filling, and place in skillet buttered side down. Butter top of bread. --- Brown both sandwiches in skillet until golden brown on bottom then gently flip over and brown other side. --- Any left over filling is great used as a dip for crackers or chips too.

½ pineapple , flesh cut into small cubes
2 thick slices of sourdough
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tsp rapeseed oil
85g cheddar , sliced
1 spring onion , finely sliced
sriracha chilli sauce
100ml white wine vinegar
40g golden caster sugar
½ tsp coriander seeds
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp black peppercorns
1 star anise
1 bay leaf

Steps:

  • Bring all the pineapple pickle ingredients to the boil with 100ml water. Add the pineapple chunks and toss in the pickle. Allow to cool, then transfer to a bowl, cover with cling film and leave in the fridge to marinate for at least 30 mins.
  • Spread the sourdough slices with mayonnaise on one side. Put half the butter and the rapeseed oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. When the butter has melted, put one slice of bread in the pan, mayo-side down, and top with a slice of cheddar, some spring onion and pickled pineapple, and more cheese and sriracha, to taste. Top with the other piece of bread, mayo-side up.
  • Cook for about 3 mins or until crispy and golden underneath, then turn the sandwich over and add the rest of the butter. Cook until crisp and golden on that side, and the cheddar is melting. Slice in half and serve immediately.

2 bacon strips, halved
2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (5 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
2 pineapple slices
2 kaiser rolls, split
2 lettuce leaves, optional
2 slices provolone cheese

Steps:

  • In a small skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove to paper towels. Flatten chicken to 3/8-in. thickness; brush both sides with oil. Grill, uncovered, over medium heat for 4 minutes. Turn; brush with barbecue sauce. Grill 3-4 minutes longer or until juices run clear., Meanwhile, place the pineapple and rolls cut side down on grill; cook for 3-4 minutes or until browned, turning the pineapple once. Place lettuce if desired on roll bottoms; top with chicken, cheese, bacon and pineapple. Replace roll tops.

1 tablespoon honey mustard
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 sandwich rolls, split

Steps:

  • Grill or broil the chicken breasts and pineapple slices, brushing occasionally with honey mustard. Cook the chicken breasts until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Serve the chicken on sandwich rolls, topped with pineapple slices and red bell pepper rings.
