Pineapple Banana Ice Recipes

BANANA ICE

Steps:

• In a small saucepan, bring sugar and 1 1/2 cups water to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to an 8-inch square dish and mix with juices of oranges and lemons, crushed pineapple, and bananas. Freeze 3 hours (or up to overnight). Remove from freezer about 20 minutes before serving (mixture should be slightly slushy). If desired, mix with some lemon-lime soda, and garnish with mint sprigs.

PINEAPPLE BANANA "ICE CREAM"

Steps:

• In a blender or food processor (I used my Vitamix) blend frozen fruit until smooth and creamy.
• Enjoy right away!

PINEAPPLE AND BANANA SMOOTHIE

Steps:

• Place ice cubes, pineapple, banana, and pineapple juice into the bowl of a blender. Puree on high until smooth.

FRESH PINEAPPLE ICE

Steps:

• Combine water, sugar and pineapple in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir, remove from heat and let cool. Process in a food processor to a rough puree. Transfer to a shallow baking dish and freeze until hard, 4 to 5 hours. Just before serving, chop the ice into fine chunks with a fork or ice pick. Serve in large goblets.

*PINEAPPLE & BANANA ICE*

Steps:

• 1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Pour into an 8-in. square dish.
• 2. Cover and freeze for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until almost firm.
• 3. Transfer to a large bowl and beat for 1-2 minutes or until smooth and creamy. Return mixture to dish and freeze again until firm.
• 4. Remove from the freezer 30 minutes before serving. Dish up in your prettiest lil bowls and Voila, the perfect low-calorie treat for those scorching summer days! Note: Only 79 calories per 1/2 cup serving :)

FROZEN PINEAPPLE AND BANANA SMOOTHIE

Steps:

• Place pineapple, banana, and lemon juice in a blender. Blend until smooth and no lumps remain, adding water to thin as necessary.
