1 package (16 ounces) fettuccine
2 tablespoons butter
1-1/2 pounds sliced fully cooked ham, cut into strips (about 5 cups)
2 cups fresh sugar snap peas
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Add ham and peas; cook and stir 5 minutes. Stir in cream, cheese and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 1-2 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened and peas are crisp-tender., Drain fettuccine; add to skillet and toss to coat. Serve immediately.

Fettuccine Alfredo with Ham and Peas! This rich and creamy dish is a family favorite meal. Easy to make and delightfully satisfying!

1 pound fettuccini pasta (cooked in salted water according to manufacturer's directions)
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 garlic, minced
1 small shallot, minced
1/4 cup white wine (optional)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup grated cheese, parmesan or a combination of Parmigiano Reggiano
6-8 ounces sliced or diced ham
1 1/2 cup peas, frozen

Steps:

  • Cook pasta Al dente according to packaged directions. Add peas the last minute of cooking.
  • In a small saucepan heat oil over medium. Add shallots and garlic and cook until fragrant (careful not to burn!). Add wine and cook until alcohol burn off. Add cream until heated. Strain liquid in another heat proof bowl (optional) and discard shallots.
  • Return liquid to saucepan and add cheese and pepper. Stir until melted. Add ham to warm.
  • Combine pasta with peas and Alfredo sauce. Serve immediately.

This easy weeknight dinner comes together in a pinch. It's a great way to use up leftover ham from a holiday meal. Just add a bag of frozen peas and a quick-and-easy homemade alfredo sauce you can make in minutes.

1 pound short pasta (farfalle, penne, etc.)
1 bag of frozen peas
2 cups diced cooked ham
1 batch of homemade Alfredo sauce (or a jar of prepared sauce from the store)
Parmesan cheese for garnish

Steps:

  • Place a large pot of water on the stovetop to boil. Add a hefty pinch of salt. Boil the pasta according to the directions on the package. Open the bag of frozen peas and place them in the bottom of a mesh strainer. Drain the pasta over the peas. The heat from the water and pasta will thaw them perfectly. Meanwhile, dice the cooked ham. Prepare the homemade Alfredo sauce if using. You can get our favorite Alfredo recipe here. Once the sauce is ready, stir in the cooked ham and let it warm through for 1 - 2 minutes. Toss the sauce with the pasta and peas. Serve with parmesan cheese as desired.

1 small onion, finely chopped
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed
1-1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
8 slices OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Smoked Ham, cut into thin strips
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1/8 tsp. each ground black pepper and ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 7 min. or until crisp-tender. Add cream cheese and milk; cook 5 min. or until mixture comes to boil and cream cheese is completely melted, stirring frequently. Add Parmesan; cook 3 min., stirring frequently. Add ham, peas, pepper and nutmeg; cook 3 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently.
  • Drain pasta; place in large bowl. Add cream cheese sauce; toss to coat.
