CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI ALFREDO RECIPE BY TASTY
Here's what you need: salt, penne pasta, broccoli floret, olive oil, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pepper, butter, garlic, heavy cream, salt, nutmeg, black pepper, grated parmesan cheese, red pepper flake

Steps:
- Bring a quart (950 ML) of water in a large pot to a boil over high heat, and salt to taste.
- Cook pasta for 8 minutes, or until slightly underdone.
- Add broccoli to pasta and simmer for 4 minutes with the lid on.
- Strain the pasta and broccoli in a colander, and run cold water over to prevent the broccoli from over cooking.
- Heat the olive oil in the pot over medium-high heat, and add the chicken. Season the chicken with season salt and pepper.
- Once the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the pot and set aside.
- Add the butter to the pot, and melt it. Once butter is fully melted, add in garlic and stir continuously for 10 seconds.
- Add the heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir often, and cook until sauce starts to bubble slightly.
- Once the sauce is bubbling and begins to cook down, add in Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Add in the cooked chicken, pasta, and broccoli, and stir until fully combined.
- Top with Parmesan cheese or red chili flakes.

Steps:
- saute cubed chicken in touch of olive oil and garlic on med-high heat. When chicken is cooked add pesto sauce. Turn down heat and make sure chicken is well coated in pesto sauce.
- meanwhile, cook pasta as directed.
- add alfredo sauce to pesto chicken and keep heat low.
- once pasta is cooked and drained, add to sauce.

Steps:
- cut chicken in bite size pieces.
- Over medium high heat saute chicken.
- When you see no pink add wine.
- While you are cooking chicken, start boiling water for the pasta.
- Cook pasta according to directions.
- Cook chicken until done.
- When pasta is almost done cook broccoli according to directions in the microwave. don't cook it all the way. 1/3 of the time it says.
- Drain pasta.
- In a separate bowl, mix garlic, alfredo, pesto, and lemon together.
- Add pesto mixture to chicken.
- Slowly add pasta and mix together.

Steps:
- Cook the penne in a large pot of water for 8-10 minutes until tender but firm.
- While pasta cooks, heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken and pepper strips and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Set aside.
- Place the broccoli florets in a colander and drain the pasta over it. Place the pasta and broccoli back into the large pot.
- Add the chicken mixture, pesto and parmesan cheese. Stir to combine.
- To freeze:.
- Cool. Spoon into freezer containers, seal, label and freeze for up to 3 months.
- To serve:.
- Thaw in micro or fridge. Bake in baking dish at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with additional freshly grated parmesan before serving.
- Note: I usually undercook my pasta slightly if I am freezing it. It finishes cooking when the dish is reheated.

- Begin by cooking the pasta in a large pot according to package directions. Add the broccoli into the pasta pot 1 minute before turning off the heat. Drain, set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, Pour 1 tablespoon oil into a large pan. Add the onion and cook for 3-4 minute or until golden. Add the garlic and cook for just a few seconds then add the sliced chicken. Season with salt & pepper and cook the chicken for 5-7 minute or until browned.
