PEANUT BUTTER OAT BREAD
This is a good bread. I warm it in the microwave and spread it with honey butter.

Steps:
- 1. In a bowl, mix your flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in peanut butter until crumbly.
- 2. Combine the egg, milk, and vanilla and stir into your dry ingredients just until moistened. Transfer to a 9x5 greased loaf pan.
- 3. Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes or until tests done in center with tooth pick. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack. 1 loaf
PEANUT BUTTER BREAD - ABM
This recipe is peanut butter love. Taste great with honey, jelly, or mashed bananas. This makes a 1.5 pound loaf.

This is one of my favorite ABM loaves. It is substantial without being heavy. I always end up leaving out the nuts though. Cooking time will vary with ABM model.

PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL

- In a small saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Stir in oats; cook 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Transfer oatmeal to 2 bowls; in each bowl, stir half each peanut butter, honey, flaxseed, cinnamon and, if desired, apple. Serve immediately.

Steps:
- Place water, honey, and margarine in small saucepan.
- Heat over low heat until mixture is very warm (120-130°F).
- Place 5 cups flour, oats, salt and yeast in mixer bowl.
- Mix with dough hook on speed 2 (low) about 15 seconds.
- Continue mixing, gradually adding warm water mixture and mix for 1 minute.
- Add eggs and mix 1 minute longer.
- Still on speed 2, add remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, and mix about 2 minutes, or until dough clings to hook and cleans side of bowl.
- Knead on speed 2 about 2 minutes longer.
- Place dough in greased bowl, turning to grease top.
- Cover.
- Let rise in warm place, free from draft, about 1 hour, or until doubled.
- Punch dough down and divide in half.
- Shape each half into a loaf.
- Place in greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch baking pan.
- Beat egg white and water together with a fork.
- Brush top of loaves with mixture.
- Sprinkle with oatmeal.
- Bake at 375°F for 40 minutes.
- Remove from pans immediately and cool on wire racks.

- Combine the water, milk, salt and oats together in a medium saucepot over high heat.
- Bring to a boil, then turn the heat down to low and cook, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes or until the liquid is just absorbed.
- Stir in the peanut butter (I love to use extra chunky - then you get wonderful peanut chunks in your oatmeal which is my favorite), cover the pot and turn off the heat.
- Let the pot sit on the burner with the heat off and covered for 5 minutes, then uncover and stir.
- Serve topped with the honey - use less or more than the specified amount according to your tastes.
