⅓ teaspoon dried oregano
salt (to taste)
black pepper (to taste)
11 oz. canned tuna (drained and flaked)
5 oz. broccoli florets
2 cups white sauce
1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
1 cup Parmigiano Reggiano cheese (grated)
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
⅓ teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions.
  • In another pan with salted water, cook broccoli florets until fork tender.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook onion until lightly golden. Season with garlic powder and oregano. Stir to combine.
  • Drain the pasta.
  • Add tuna, pasta, white sauce, and cheddar cheese into the pan with cooked onion. Stir well to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into a 7x11 inch baking pan. Top with broccoli florets and sprinkle with grated Parmigiano and breadcrumbs.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and let stand for at least 10 minutes before serving.
  • Serve and enjoy.

1 (16 ounce) package medium seashell pasta
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables, drained
1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon oil to the water to prevent sticking. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream of mushroom soup, mixed vegetables, canned tuna, and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese. Gently fold pasta into the soup mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour pasta and soup mixture into a 11x7 inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cup of cheese on top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly.

600g rigatoni
50g butter
50g plain flour
600ml milk
250g strong cheddar, grated
2 x 160g cans tuna steak in spring water, drained
330g can sweetcorn, drained
large handful chopped parsley

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4.
  • Boil 600g rigatoni for 2 mins less time than stated on the pack.
  • To make the sauce, melt 50g butter in a saucepan and stir in 50g plain flour.
  • Cook for 1 min, then gradually stir in 600ml milk to make a thick white sauce.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in all but a handful of the 250g grated cheddar.
  • Drain the pasta, mix with the white sauce, two 160g drained cans tuna, one 330g drained can sweetcorn and a large handful of chopped parsley, then season.
  • Transfer to a baking dish and top with the rest of the grated cheddar.
  • Bake for 15-20 mins until the cheese on top is golden and starting to brown.
