PARTY FRANKS
This is a very old sweet and sour cocktail recipe; I remember looking forward to it as a kid at my Mom's holiday parties. It will look horrible and smell worse when first in the pan, but just wait. Don't ever tell what's in the sauce until after your guests have tasted it (otherwise they'll never try it). Serve with toothpicks; keep warm with a fondue pot.

PARTY WEINERS
I whipped this glaze up last weekend when trying to come up with a new take on brown-sugar glazed little smokies....it was a HUGE hit!

Steps:
- 1. Using 1/4 a strip of bacon per sausage, wrap each sausage in a bacon blanket and secure with a toothpick. Place close together, pick side up, on a foiled, sprayed sheet pan.
- 2. Whisk together the sugar, honey mustard, and syrup. For ease of application, put glaze into a zip-top bag and snip off a corner for "piping".
- 3. Drizzle glaze evenly over all sausages. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 mins or until bacon is crisp and glaze begins to carmelize (excess dribbles on the foil may actually burn = be careful). Serve hot or cold. This "glaze" works well on pork chops, too. :)
PARTY FRANKS
These tiny, tangy appetizers have broad appeal. I prepare them often for holiday gatherings, weddings and family reunions. They're convenient to serve at parties since the sauce can be made ahead and then reheated with the franks before serving. -Lucille Howell, Portland, Oregon

COCKTAIL WIENERS
A sweet and savory treat for any get-together that will sure be a crowd pleaser. It's cheap and easy to make in a slow cooker with only three ingredients. I make this for any get-together and it is always a hit! I was a little unsure at first about the grape jelly concoction, but I tried it and have never done it any other way. It is so savory with just enough sweet. I always receive or over hear lots of agreement with the taste of the sauce. It always disappears at parties, and the next day I have cravings for these cocktail wienies. Try it for your next potluck, back yard BBQ, or any event!
