WE MADE THIS EVERY CHRISTIMAS GROWING UP. NOW I MAKE IT FOR MY GRANDKIDS.

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

1 - bag of frozen roll dough
1/3 cup(s) can solid pumpkin
1 box(es) cook and serve butterscotch pudding
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
1 stick(s) butter, melted
2 teaspoon(s) pumpkin pie spices
1 cup(s) chopped pecans or i prefer walnuts.

Steps:

Spray a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray Line bottom with chpped nuts and arrange bread dough over top nuts.
Sprinkle the dough with the cook and serve pudding spices and brown sugar. Melted stick of butter and add 1/3 cup of pumpkin,pour over bread and pudding mixture. Cover and let sit in refrigerator overnight. Next morning pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes or until middle is not doughy.
Immediately flip out onto a serving plate and serve.

My son James loves Monkey Bread and in honor of his 14th Birthday I decided to come up with a new variation. Pumpkin and spice are a perfect marriage combined with the bread dough. While baking it fills your house up with the smell of warm spices and just wait until you pull this ooey gooey bread from the oven, your family will love you for it!

Ingredients

1 - bag of frozen roll dough
1/3 cup(s) canned pumpkin
1 box - cook and serve butterscotch pudding
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
1 stick(s) melted butter
2 teaspoon(s) pumpkin pie spices
1 cup(s) chopped pecans

Steps:

Spray a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray
Line bottom with chopped pecans and arrange bread dough over top of pecans.
Sprinkle the dough with the cook and serve pudding, spices and brown sugar.
Melted stick of butter and add 1/3 Cup of pumpkin, pour over bread and pudding mixture.
Cover and let sit in refrigerator overnight.
Next morning Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30- 40 min or until middle is not doughy.
Immediately flip out onto a serving plate and serve .

In small bowl, stir cream cheese, pumpkin, 2 tablespoons of the sugar and 1 teaspoon of the pumpkin pie spice until well blended. In another small bowl, mix remaining 1 1/4 cups sugar and remaining 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice until well blended. Set aside.
Separate dough into 16 biscuits. Separate each biscuit into 2 layers, to make total of 32 biscuits. Spoon 1 rounded teaspoon cream cheese mixture on center of each biscuit. Bring all sides of dough over filling, stretching gently if necessary, and gather in center above filling to form a ball; firmly pinch edges to seal. Dip each ball into melted butter; roll in sugar mixture.

Combine all filling ingredients and cook over low heat on stove to dissolve as much as possible. Cream cheese may not fully dissolve.
In bowl of large stand mixer, whisk together yeast, 1/2 cup flour, warm milk and sugar until smooth. Allow to stand 15 minutes until foamy (like the top of a latte). The presence of foam is the indicator that your yeast is good.
Butter or oil spray a 12-cup bundt pan. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon from the coating ingredients in a small bowl. To assemble, take each dough ball, dip it in the melted butter, roll in brown sugar cinnamon mixture, and place in bundt pan. Add half the dough to the pan, top with half of the pumpkin mixture, add remaining dough balls, and finish with remaining pumpkin mixture. If there is any remaining melted butter or brown sugar, throw it in as well!
