Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place two cups of the quick oats into a blender and pulse four or five times until it's more like flour. Pour into a mixing bowl.
- Add the remaining 1/2 cup of quick oats, cinnamon applesauce, and eggs together until well combined. It will be very wet.
- Place the dog mold on the parchment-lined baking sheet and scoop batter into the mold evenly while also flattening down with the back of a small spoon.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Side Note: You can also do spoonfuls of batter a couple of inches apart to make cookies.
- Place the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 22-25 minutes or until golden and set.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on cooling racks.
- Store in the refrigerator in a sealed container. Enjoy.

Steps:
- If using a fresh apple chop it into small bits.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl with a mixer or spoon.
- Dust a flat surface with flour and roll or press out the dough until it is about ¼-inch thick.
- Using a cookie cutter, cut out as many shapes as possible. If the dough is too sticky to roll out, add a little more oat flour. Gather the dough scraps and re-roll as necessary until all the dough is used.
- Place the cutout treats on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

NATURAL APPLE CINNAMON OATS DOGGY TREATS
Here's an easy, safe, natural and healthy treat that dogs drool over! Makes their breath smelling fresh too-- what more can a pawrent ask for? I found this recipe somewhere on the web and altered it a bit to make it more natural and healthier for our furry friends. The original recipe called for 5 cups of flour and regular powdered milk. I instead used non-fat powdered milk and used just 2 3/4 Unbleached flour and 2 1/2 cups oat flour. You can make your own oat flour by grinding oatmeal using a food processor or even a coffee grinder would do. I or should I say, my dog Coco gave them as gifts to her doggy friends this Christmas. They were well received and consumed in no time... by the dogs and their humans too! We have lots of doggy friends and this recipe yields a lot so this was VERY economical.

Steps:
- Pre-heat oven for 15minutes- set at 350 degrees F.
- Mix all ingredients together until the dough is less sticky enough to be kneaded with your hands.
- Knead for approximately 7 minutes.
- Roll out dough and cut into small fun shapes. You can place them n cookie sheet close together as they don't spread. (If the dough is a bit hard to manage, wrap it in saran wrap and let it sit in the freezer for approximately 20 minutes).
- Bake for 25 minutes or until brown. (My dog loves the crunch so I bake mine a little longer).
- Let it cool and serve with TLC.

- Place 2 cups of the oats in a food processor and grind until it has a flour-like consistency. Place the ground oats in a large mixing bowl.
- Roughly chop the apples, removing the seeds and core. Grind in the food processor until it begins to resemble apple sauce. You may need to scrape down the sides. Some chunks are okay. Scoop the apple mixture into the mixing bowl.
- To the mixing bowl, add the remaining 1 cup of whole oats, cinnamon, flax seed if using, and honey. Mix to combine. Add additional oats if the mixture is too wet, and honey or water if it is too dry.
- Preheat oven to 350F. If the mixture is sticky, lightly dust the surface with flour or additional ground oats. Roll out the dough to approximately 1/4" thick. Using your desired cookie cutter, cut out the treat shapes and place them on a silicone baking mat or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
