SWEETHEART COOKIES

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk; mix well. Stir in the flour by hand. On a lightly floured surface, gently knead dough for 2-3 minutes or until thoroughly combined. , Roll into 1-in. balls. Place 2 in. apart on greased baking sheets. Using the end of a wooden spoon handle, make an indention in the center of each. Fill each with 1/4 teaspoon preserves. , Bake for 13-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks. Dust warm cookies with confectioners' sugar if desired. Cool.

VALENTINE'S DAY COOKIES
This cookie recipe is my own personal recipe I would just love to share with the world. What makes them so special is that the eggs are replaced with milk. Without the eggs it give the outside a cookie like shell but with a moist cakey inside.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Whisk together the flour, white sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Beat honey, milk, butter, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir the flour mixture into the honey mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate and vanilla chips.
- Roll the dough into walnut-sized balls and place 2 inches apart onto nonstick baking sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool; dust with confectioners' sugar.

- START by prepare the mixture by beating the butter,honey,and almond extract,together with electric mixer.
- Keep mixing comsiderably ,smooth past by the end of this step.
- ADD A cup of paste and beat well.ONCE this is done,go ahead and ,add another cup of flour to it. Beat well the ingredients,until you have a smooth cookie dough at hands.
- NOW ADD the chopped almonds to the cookie dough. YOU CAN cut the dough into hearts squares circles,hot lips,and so on.TO WHAT EVER SHAPE YOU LIKE TO MAKE IT.
- WHEN BAKING THIS COOKIES ENSURE that you are baking them at the right temperature. Your timing has to be right,No room for any mistakes here. BAKE 350* for 1/2 hour or so check on them ,make sure not to overcook them. ONCE cookies are baked,take them out . COOL them decorated them with hot red or pink frosting and even sprinkles,or crystal red and different colors. TAKE YOUR COOKIE AND ROLL IT ON THE EDGES WITH CRUSHED ALMONDS.
