KINDERPUNSCH (GERMAN NON-ALCOHOLIC CHRISTMAS PUNCH)
Steps:
- To make the Kinderpunsch, simply place all the ingredients except for the honey and tea in a stock pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the tea bags and let them steep, covered, for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and add honey to taste. Reheat the punch until hot.
- Serve hot. Optional garnishes to place in each mug include orange slices, cloves, a star anise or cinnamon stick.

- Combine all ingredients and bring to boil; Simmer uncovered 10 minutes ( NOTE: SPICES SHOULD BE WRAPPED IN CHEESECLOTH FOR EASY REMOVAL)
- Remove cinnamon and cloves
- Chill
- Just before serving add one 2 liter bottle chilled ginger ale
CIDER MULLED PUNCH
Steps:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Remove cloves and cinnamon stick and serve warm.
