Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment.
- Unroll the crescent dough sheet onto a lightly floured work surface and gently stretch into a 14-by-8-inch rectangle. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough in half into two 7-by-8-inch rectangles. Using a small offset spatula or the back of a spoon, spread 2 tablespoons of the pesto on the top half of each rectangle, then sprinkle 1/2 cup of the mozzarella evenly over each half. Fold the bottom half of the dough upwards to cover the mozzarella and pesto and gently press the edges to seal.
- Cut each rectangle into 8 strips, each about 1/2 inch wide. Carefully twist each strip several times, making sure to keep the filling intact, then place on the prepared baking sheet and pinch the ends to seal. Refrigerate the twists for 30 minutes. Bake until puffed and golden brown, 13 to 15 minutes. Serve warm.

PESTO AND PROSCIUTTO SANDWICH
This recip was created for the RSC game 2018. You may use any kind of focaccia bread you like. Either a big one or four focaccia rolls. I used two small gluten free focaccia breads. You probably won't need the whole jar of pesto, but feel free to use as much of it as you like. Also you may use more mozzarella if you want it super...

Steps:
- 1. Half the focaccia loaf lengthwise.
- 2. Generously smear pesto on both halves.
- 3. On the bottom half, place the prociutto, sliced tomatoes and sliced mozzarella.
- 4. Top with the upper half.
- 5. Divide bread into 4 equal pieces and serve.
- 6. If you wish to make a hot sandwich, you can pop the whole loaf into the oven and bake at 350°F until cheese starts to melt. But be aware that the pesto probably will also get runny because of the oil!
- 7. Enjoy!

MOZZARELLA, PROSCIUTTO, PESTO AND PLUM TOMATO SANDWICHES
Steps:
- Slice baguettes in half and then lengthwise but don't cut all the way through.
- Slather the bottom half of the baguettes with pesto. Top with prosciutto, tomatoes and mozzarella. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Placing the mozzarella on top will keep the top of bread from getting soggy from tomatoes.
- Wrap sandwiches tightly in parchment and slice in half. Pack away.
- Place walnuts, cheese, garlic, and 1/2 cup olive oil in a blender and puree until smooth. Add basil and parsley, and then with the motor running, gradually add the remaining olive oil until pesto is thick and smooth. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
