I got this recipe from my Mother. She would always make them by scratch. I then found some meatballs at Wal-mart and they are just as good. Very cheap and easy to make. All done in a Crock-pot

- place meatball in crock pot, on stove get a saucepan and pour cranberry sauce and jar chili sauce, Heat till all mixed and bubbly. Pour sauce over meatballs in crock pot and let it cook for 45-50 mins.

- In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 2 dozen 1-1/2-in. balls. Place in a greased 2-qt. baking dish. , For sauce, combine brown sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add pineapple and juice, green onions, vinegar and soy sauce; cook and stir just until thickened and bubbly. Pour over meatballs. , Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Stir in green pepper. Cover and bake 10 minutes longer or until meat is no longer pink. Serve with rice if desired.

Steps:
- In a medium size mixing bowl, combine first five ingredients. Roll into small meatballs and set aside.
- Mix the next four ingredients together and set aside.
- Layer all the onion slices on the bottom of a large heavy pot. Place the uncooked meatballs on top of the onions and then pour the liquid mixture on top. Place a lid on the pot and simmer for about 30 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through. Add the pineapple to the meatballs in the last ten minutes of cooking. Stir once or twice during cooking.
- Meanwhile, boil 5 cups lightly salted water. Add the rice after water is boiling. Boil until rice is tender (about 20 minutes); drain.
- Serve the meatballs and pineapple over the rice in individual plates and pour extra sauce on top of each.
- Enjoy!

- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs and onion. Mix thoroughly and shape into golf ball-sized balls.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, gently brown the meatballs and set aside.
