You can add cinnamon sticks, cloves, ginger to the water if you want additional flavoring! This is great in ice and hot drinks! This can be placed in pretty jars and wrapped for gifts as well.

Steps:

  • Stir 1/3 cup hot water into 1/4 cup sugar. Heat until dissolved.

  • When dissolved sprinkle over each cake layer before spreading on the filling.
