This is an easy way to get kids to eat their veggies. If you want a more fruity taste, exclude the yogurt.

½ cup orange juice
¼ cup fresh spinach, or to taste
5 strawberries

  • Blend berries, yogurt, orange juice, spinach, and strawberries together in a blender until smooth.

1/2 banana
1/3-1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/3-1/2 cup frozen blackberrie
1/4-1/2 cup frozen spinach, large pieces broken up
1/2 cup pineapple chunks in juice (tidbits or crushed pineapple would work just as well, if not better)

Steps:

  • Throw everything in the blender and puree until smooth. You might need to add additional pineapple juice or a tiny bit of water if you like to use a straw! I usually use a spoon to eat mine.

1 cup rice milk
2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder (Oryx Goat Whey)
1 cup baby spinach leaves
1 cup mixed fruit (Wawona Frozen Foods Festival Blend -- Costco)
16 ice cubes (1 tray)

Steps:

  • Place all of your ingredients into your (Vitamix) blender.
  • Run your blender on variable or high.
  • Blend for about 1 minute.
  • Serve as soon as possible.
