Steps:

  • In medium bowl, mix all ingredients except cranberry sauce and water. Shape mixture into about 45 (1-inch) balls.
  • Heat 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs; cover and cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until thermometer inserted in center of meatballs reads 165°F.
  • Gently stir in cranberry sauce and water. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until cranberry sauce is melted and smooth.

50g fresh white breadcrumb
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp finely chopped or grated onion
½ tsp ground allspice
1 tbsp olive oil
cranberry sauce or jelly, to serve

  • In a bowl, put the meat, breadcrumbs, egg, onion and allspice with some seasoning. Mix well and form into about 20 small meatballs. Heat the oil in a frying pan, then brown and cook the meatballs in two batches. Serve with a bowl of cranberry sauce to dip in.

1 pound ground turkey
1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 cup jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup orange juice
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest

Steps:

  • Place stuffing in a large bowl. Crumble ground turkey and pork sausage over stuffing and mix well. Shape into 2-in. balls. Place on a greased rack in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 375° for 15-20 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160°. Drain on paper towels., Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients; heat through. Serve with meatballs. 1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 small onion, finely chopped
3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 can (14 ounces) jellied cranberry sauce
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 package (1 pound) miniature smoked sausage links

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble bulk sausage over the mixture and mix well. Shape into 1 in. balls. In a large skillet, cook meatballs over medium heat until a thermometer reads 160°.; drain., In a large saucepan, combine the cranberry sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and mustard. 2 large eggs
2 pounds ground beef
½ cup milk
1 small onion, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup crushed French-fried onions (such as French's®)
1 (14 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce (such as Ocean Spray®)
1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce (such as Heinz®)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Beat eggs in a mixing bowl. Add beef, milk, onion, and salt; mix well. Sprinkle in crumbled fried onions and mix until evenly combined.
  • Form the mixture into 40 meatballs and place into a 9x13-inch and 9x9-inch baking dish; set aside.
  • Blend cranberry sauce and chili sauce together in a bowl with an electric hand mixer.
  • Pour 2/3 of the sauce mixture over the meatballs. Brush the remaining sauce over to completely cover the meatballs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until meatballs are browned and no longer pink in the centers, about 1 hour.

1 teaspoon fresh basil, minced

1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 1/2 cups chili sauce or 1 1/2 cups catsup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon citric acid or 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, bread crumbs, parsley, eggs, garlic, onion powder, basil and pepper.
  • Mix well but do not overwork or meat will become tough when cooked.
  • Form into small balls the size of a walnut or smaller.
  • Place meatballs in a slow oven of 300 degrees F and bake for 25 minutes.
  • In the meantime, in a crock pot set at 325 degrees F, mix together the cranberry sauce (if you so desire, you can use jellied. I prefer the whole berry.) Add remaining sauce ingredients.
  • When meatballs are baked, transfer them to the crock pot and stir into the sauce.
  • Cook in crock pot for 1 hour.
  • Lower heat to keep warm for serving.

2 (15 ounce) cans whole berry cranberry sauce

  • Cover with cranberry sauce.
  • Cover and cook from 2 hrs to 6 hours High heat the first hour and low heat the remaining time. It is a make ahead recipe.
  • Add water or cranberry juice if the sauce is getting too thick.
