Hate dry, crumbly biscuits? Then you'll love this recipe that uses mayonnaise to help bind the ingredients and keep the biscuits from being dry. Perfect biscuits every time!

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix the mayonnaise and milk together in a small bowl until smooth. Add the mayonnaise mixture to the dry ingredients and mix just until the dough holds together. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface. Knead the dough lightly until smooth. Roll out the dough to a 3/4-inch thickness with a floured rolling pin. Using a biscuit cutter, cut the dough into biscuits. Re-roll the scraps and repeat cutting more biscuits. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from the baking sheet and let cool on a wire rack.

This is from Mr. Food on channel 27 I seen it yesterday and had to try it for dinner with my roast. Very easy and quick to make. If you wanted a sweeter biscuits you could add some sugar to the batter. Great recipe and no rolling or kneading so make some with your dinner tonight. Thanks Mr. Food Nice and soft

3 c self rising flour
1 1/2 c milk
1/3 c mayonnaise miracle whip
1 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. preheat oven to 400* Combine all ingredients in large bowl mix well.
  • 2. Spray a 12 cup muffin pan with olive oil and fill cups with batter. Bake 12-15 minutes pending on your oven. Use a toothpick to test for doneness.
  • 3. This will make 12 nice size biscuits

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.

  • In a small bowl, combine self-rising flour, mayonnaise, 1 cup milk, and sugar, if using. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed. Do not overmix because that will cause the biscuits to be tough.
