- In a shallow dish, combine the apple juice, soy sauce, oil and seasonings. Add the beef and turn to coat. Cover; refrigerate for at least 1 hour., Drain and discard marinade. Grill steak, covered, over medium heat for 8-10 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°). To serve, thinly slice against the grain.

- Place the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, basil, parsley, and pepper in a blender. Add hot pepper sauce and garlic, if desired. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until thoroughly mixed.
- Pour marinade over desired type of meat. Cover, and refrigerate for up to 8 hours. Cook meat as desired.

- 1. Place the steak in a large resealable container. In large bowl, add all remaining ingredients. Pour marinade over steak and seal container. Place in refrigerator. Let marinade for at least 4 hours or overnight.

ITALIAN MARINATED SIRLOIN STEAK

- Whisk the olive oil, vinegar, garlic, rosemary, parsley, oregano, honey, red pepper flakes and 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Transfer 3 tablespoons of the vinaigrette to a small bowl; cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Combine the remaining vinaigrette with the steak in a large resealable bag; turn the bag several times to coat the meat. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight, turning the bag occasionally.
- Preheat a grill to high. Transfer the steak to a plate or baking sheet, letting the excess marinade drip off; season the steak with salt and pepper. Let stand at room temperature, 30 minutes. Grill the steak until a thermometer inserted into the thickest side reaches 130 degrees F, 16 to 20 minutes for medium rare, flipping every 4 to 5 minutes. Transfer the meat to a cutting board and let rest 10 minutes. Thinly slice the meat against the grain; serve with the reserved vinaigrette.

This is what the article says: Oriental meets Mediterranean in this flavorful, sweet-and- spicy marinade from Sarah Vasques of Milford, New Hampshire "The blend of honey and soy sauce really works well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar," she notes. Her marinade is also great when grilling New York strip steaks.

- In a blender, combine the honey, soy sauce, oil, vinegar, garlic and pepper; cover and process until blended. Pour 1/3 cup marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; add steaks and onions. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade for basting.
- Coat grill rack with cooking spray before starting the grill. Drain and discard marinade. - Combine dry ingredients in one bowl. Combine liquid ingredients in another.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients in gallon-size ziplock bag. Mix ingredients together.
- Place steaks in ziplock bag.
- Allow to marinade for at least 3-4 hours.
- Heat grill to 600 F.
- Place steaks on preheated grill. Brush extra marinade on top of steaks. Close lid.
- Flip steaks after 5 minutes. Brush extra marinade on steaks again.
- Flip steaks again after 4 minutes. Allow steaks to cook for 1 additional minute.
