This traditional, delicious cream cheese frosting has a maple syrup twist. This yielded enough for me to fill and lightly frost a 12 inch square cake.

Ingredients

11 ounces cream cheese, softened
⅔ cup butter, softened
4 cups confectioners' sugar
¼ cup maple syrup

Steps:

Beat the cream cheese and butter together in a large bowl until well combined; add 4 cups of confectioner's sugar and maple syrup and beat until smooth. Store in refrigerator until needed.

1 carton (8 ounces) reduced-fat spreadable cream cheese
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts, toasted
Bagels, split

Steps:

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, syrup and cinnamon until smooth; stir in walnuts. Chill until serving. Serve with bagels.

1 teaspoon paprika

Steps:

Combine all three ingredients.
Keep stored in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
(if it lasts that long).
