This is a collection of some of my party food goodies. As you can see, I love to entertain. I've added them as bonus tracks in my Party Flavors Cookbook. I've given a brief description of the recipe. You can add, substitute any ingredients you like. These are just a few ideas that you may want to include at your next party. I will be posting all the recipes soon. I hope that you enjoy them. Steps:

  • Korean chicken wings: grilled marinated wings, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, sherry wine, tomato paste, brown sugar, crushed red pepper, green onion
  • Deep Fried Pork Ribs: marinated ribs deep fried served with spicy vinegar
  • Garlic Shrimp: shrimp, fresh garlic, italian parsly, seafood seasoning, lemon zest, crushed red pepper, evoo & butter
  • Fried Wangs: marinated cheicken wings...breaded in seasoned flour then deep fried to perfection
  • Thai Wangs: baked wings tossed in red curry, honey, butter, lime juice, soy sauce & cilantro
  • Garlic Blue Crabs: blue crabs sauteed in evoo, butter, fresh garlic, italian parsley, crushed red pepper, lemon zest
  • Mini Me Caprese Salad: grape tomatoes, fresh basil, mini fresh mozzarella balls on a stick, drizzled with evoo & balsamic vinegar...salt and fresh black pepper
  • Kenzie's Poached Pear Delites: pie crust shells topped with poached pears, proscuitto, gorgonzola blue chees & walnuts. drizzled with a wine reduction
  • Choco Blackberries: chocolate covered blackberries
  • Best Mini Bird Sliders: ground mini chicken burgers seasoned with greek seasonings topped with crumbled bacon, sundried tomatoes, blue cheese, caramelized onions & fresh basil...olive oil mayo spread on buns
  • Yummy Banana Bites: chocolate, pecan, toasted coconut covered bananas
  • Chicken Salad Mini's: chicken salad with grapes, celery, red onion, cashews, mayo & sea salt & pepper on mini cresent rolls
  • Devine Deviled Eggs: made with mayo, mustard, capers, sweet pickle relish, paprika, season salt & pepper
  • Surf & Turf Stuffed Meatballs: seasoned ground chuck stuffed with crabmeat and veggies....topped with a yummy sauce
  • Big Bird Wrapped in Miss Piggy: bacon wrapped chicken breasts with blue cheese, fresh basil and sun dried tomatoes

Number Of Ingredients 13

3 cups all-purpose flour
2 (1/4 ounce) packages active dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 1/4 cups warm water (105-115 degrees)
1 large egg, slightly beaten
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons butter flavored vegetable shortening
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 ounces granulated sugar
2 ounces brown sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon

Steps:

  • Place 2 cups flour in a large mixing bowl. Add yeast, salt, sugar and dry milk. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine water and egg and stir to blend.
  • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Pour water mixture into the well.
  • Mix by hand, beating 150 strokes and frequently scraping bottom and sides of bowl.
  • Add 1/2 of the melted butter and beat to incorporate. Add remaining flour, about 1/3 cup at a time, beating to incorporate each addition.
  • Cover bowl with plastic wrap. Set dough in a warm, draft free place such as oven with a pan of the hottest tap water on the rack below.
  • Allow batter to rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
  • Coat cups, bottoms and sides of 12 cup muffin pan (or two small round pans) with shortening. Punch down batter (batter will be extremely soft and sticky). Drop by hand or spoonful into prepared muffin cups to make 12 rolls (or in pan touching the next). Brush dough with 1/2 remaining melted butter.
  • Let rise uncovered in a warm draft free place until doubled in bulk, about 30 minutes. In preheated 400 degree oven, bake rolls on middle rack for 16-18 minutes.
  • Serve with cinnamon butter.
