SHRIMP PASTA SALAD

- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain; rinse with cold water and drain again., In a large bowl, combine pasta, shrimp, peas, green onions and parsley. Mix remaining ingredients; stir into pasta mixture. Refrigerate, covered, at least 2 hours.

Dill gives this beautiful, creamy, shrimp pasta salad a fresh taste. This is a very attractive dish. Perfect for potlucks. Garnish with toasted pecans or a sprig of fresh dill.

Steps:
- Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp until they are bright pink on the outside and the meat is opaque, about 5 minutes. Immediately immerse shrimp in a bowl of cold water and let cool, at least 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, 10 to 11 minutes.
- Peel and devein shrimp. Drain pasta and transfer to a large bowl.
- Add shrimp, mayonnaise, sour cream, peas, celery, red onion, lemon juice, dill, sugar, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Adjust seasonings to taste. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.

Steps:
- Cook pasta until al dente.
- Drain and allow to cool.
- Toss pasta with shrimp, celery, red pepper, peas and onions.
- In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
- Add to pasta mixture.
- Stir well.
- Chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- If desired, serve on a bed of lettuce, accompanied with a slice or two of fresh crusty bread.

- Cook pasta according to package directions then drain. Cool down with some cold water and let drain.
- Coursely chop the shrimp
- In a large bowl add the pasta, shrimp, peas, green onions, mayo, yogurt, lemon juice and spices. Mix together well.
- Serve on a large piece of lettuce

This is a healthy salad that can be used for dinner or to take along to a pot luck. Pasta and shrimp, with yummy vegetables in a lemony spicy dressing. Very easy to make. Note: Chill time is not included in cook time.

- Cook pasta according to directions on box. During the last two (2) minutes of cook time add shrimp and peas to pasta. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Set aside.
- In small bowl combine yogurt, mayo, lemon juice, Old Bay, and garlic powder. Set aside.
- Pour pasta into a serving bowl, add vegetables and dressing and chill for at least an hour. Salt and pepper to taste and serve.

- Cook pasta in boiling water for 9 1/2 minutes, omitting fat and salt.
- Add carrots and cook an additional 30 seconds.
- Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Combine pasta mixture, shrimp, lettuce, cilantro leaves and peanuts in a large bowl. Toss well.
- Combine lime juice and remaining 7 ingredients in a jar.
- Cover tightly and shake vigorously.
- Pour over pasta mixture, tossing gently to coat.
