Don't be afraid to roast these until golden brown that is what gives these flavor! --- you may use thinly sliced garlic cloves in place of the powder however I find that the sliced garlic tends to burn while cooking, the choice is up to you --- remember to remove the outer leaves on each brussels sprout and the sprouts should be completely dry or water will accumulate in the bottom of your pan while roasting

1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts (for even roasting try to use all the same size)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (more to season after cooking if needed)
fresh ground black pepper (to taste)
freshly grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Set oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  • Slice off a small piece of the bottom core off of each brussels sprout then remove the outer layer of leaves and discard then place the sprouts in a large bowl.
  • In a small bowl whisk together the oil with melted butter, garlic powder and salt; pour over the sprouts and toss well to coat.
  • Transfer to baking pan.
  • Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until golden brown tossing a few times during cooking.
  • Transfer to a bowl then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

1 whole garlic, cloves separated and peeled
1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 ° F.
  • Toss together Brussels sprouts, garlic cloves, olive oil, lemon pepper, and salt; spread on a baking sheet.
  • Roast for 20-25 minutes or until garlic and Brussels sprouts are tender.
  • Toss with Parmesan cheese and serve.

2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
1 lime, juice of

roast, until slightly charred and tender 30 to 35 minutes. Serve

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425º. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, lime juice, and garlic.
  • On a large baking sheet, toss Brussels sprouts in sauce until fully coated. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Roast until slightly charred and tender, 30 to 35 minutes. Serve.

If you haven't yet figured out a go-to recipe for brussels sprouts, this simple dish is the answer. It results in sweet caramelized brussels sprouts that will make a believer out of anyone.

1 pint brussels sprouts (about a pound)
4 to 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, to coat bottom of pan
5 cloves garlic, peeled
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees. Trim bottom of brussels sprouts, and slice each in half top to bottom. Heat oil in cast-iron pan over medium-high heat until it shimmers; put sprouts cut side down in one layer in pan. Put in garlic, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Cook, undisturbed, until sprouts begin to brown on bottom, and transfer to oven. Roast, shaking pan every 5 minutes, until sprouts are quite brown and tender, about 10 to 20 minutes.
  • Taste, and add more salt and pepper if necessary. Stir in balsamic vinegar, and serve hot or warm.
