Number Of Ingredients 6

10 ounces beets large beets, peeled and chopped (2 cups)
1 cup red cabbage chopped or green cabbage
2 onions medium, chopped
3 (10 1/2-ounce) cans beef broth
1 teaspoon salt and pepper, to taste
3/4 cup sour cream Dairy

Steps:

  • 1. Simmer vegetables in the broth until tender, about 30 to 40 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Ladle into heavy pottery bowls and top with a tablespoon of sour cream on each serving.
