KAHLUA ICE CREAM CAKE RECIPE - (3.7/5)

Steps:

• 1. Line sides and bottom of 10 inch springform pan w with lady fingers 2. Stir together softened ice cream, add instant coffee and Kahlua, stir well 3. Stir in 7 of the crushed candy bars 4. Spoon ice cream into prepared pan 5. Freeze until solid 6. Spread Cool Whip 7. Sprinkle with remaining candy bar and freeze until serving time

FROZEN KAHLUA CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 325ºF.
• Grease and flour bundt pan.
• Cream butter and sugar.
• Add cocoa and egg yolks.
• Dissolve soda in water and combine with coffee and kahlua.
• Add to batter alternately with the flour.
• Add vanilla and fold in beaten egg whites.
• Pour batter in pan, remove air bubbles.
• Bake 1 hour.
• Combine glaze ingredients and pour over warm cake.
• Cool and remove from pan.
• Cover with foil and freeze.
• About 1 hour before serving, remove from freezer and ice with whipped cream (or Cool Whip).

KAHLUA CAKE WITH KAHLUA TOPPING

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease and flour a 10-cup Bundt pan.
• Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over bottom of pan; set aside.
• In large bowl, combine cake mix and pudding mix.
• Add water, oil, liqueur and eggs.
• Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
• Pour into prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
• While cake is baking, prepare Kahlua topping; in a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients.
• Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil for 2 minutes, stirring often.
• When cake is done baking, carefully pour hot Kahlua topping over cake.
• Let stand in pan, for 4 hours.
• Invert cake onto wire rack.
