MOLASSES PEANUT REWARDS DOG TREATS
Molasses is a sweetener that is actually good for your dog, providing manganese and a variety of other trace minerals. Portion size: For small dogs, 1/2 treat; for medium dogs, 1 treat; for large dogs, 2 treats.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Whisk together the molasses, peanut butter, water, and vegetable oil.
- Combine the oats and flour. Slowly add to the wet ingredients.
- Mix thoroughly, drop tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet, and press down.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until firm.
- The treats will keep well up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.

I modified this recipe from The Daycare Lady's Molasses Peanut Rewards Dog Treats for dogs with food allergies. Different oils can be used - try substituting coconut oil (melted) or peanut oil if you want. This recipe will not work for your dog if they have a nut, oat, rice or potato allergy.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350'.
- Combine the flours and the oats. Set aside.
- Whisk together the water, oil, peanut butter and molasses.
- Slowly add the wet to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
- Allow to stand for about an hour to allow the dough to firm.
- Drop by tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet and press to flatten.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until firm.
- ALTERNATELY:.
- Follow to step 4, then set dough aside for an hour to firm or wrap in plastic wrap and leave overnight.
- Roll to 1/4-1/2 in thickness and cut into desired shapes.
- Bake for 15 minutes until firm.
- The treats will keep for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.

- Preheat oven to 350°F Combine flour, oats and baking powder in a large bowl. Mix the milk, peanut butter and molasses until smooth, add to dry ingredients. Knead dough with hands, it will be stiff. Roll out to 1/4" thick and cut into shapes.
- Bake for 20 minute or until lightly browned.
- Turn off oven and leave in oven until cool. Store in airtight container.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Mix the peanut butter, milk, and molasses.
- In a seperate bowl, combine the flower and baking powder, then add it to the wet ingredients.
- Knead until blended and press into a ball. Roll out the dough ontro a lightly floured surface. Cut out shapes with cookie cutters. Get creative - shape your dog's cookies into things they love, such as bones or tennis balls.
- Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 20 minutes. Cool before feeding to your dog. Fido will love these!
