Hot dog wraps with toasted bread or tortillas are one of the ways we enjoy hot dogs in our home. These cheesy air fryer hot dog wraps are super easy to make and are so delicious. I agree that the filling in these easy air fryer hot dog recipe checks all the boxes. You just need to give it a try.

Steps:
- Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin and set aside.
- Place a slice of American cheese in th middle of each flattened bread.
- Place a hot dog at the edge of each slice of bread. Roll it up with the bread and cheese wrapping it.
- Spread some butter on the exterior of the bread wrapping the hot dogs.
- Place in the air fryer basket and bake at 400°F / 200°C for 8 - 10 mins or till you achieve your desired level of toasted. Remember to flip the hot dog wraps half way through the cooking time.

Steps:
- Place hot dogs between two paper towels and microwave on high for 20 seconds. Remove from towels and reserve the hot dogs hot.
- Lay one slice of American cheese on the center of each tortilla.
- Place hot hot dogs on top of each slice of cheese. Roll up each tortilla/cheese/hot dog by simply rolling from one end to the other.
- Place all four hot dog roll ups in the microwave and cook for an additional 10 to 12 seconds to fully melt the cheese and warm the tortillas.
- Remove from microwave and serve each hot dog roll up whole.

Place a hot dog at the end of the pastry where you brushed the mustard and roll it up and away from you one turn, until the hot dog is just encased in one layer of pastry and mustard. Brush the next 1-inch strip of pastry with the egg wash and continue to roll the hot dog, so the pastry is completely sealed. Cut any remaining pastry across and place the hot dog, seam side down, on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Prepare the remaining 3 hot dogs the same way.
- Brush the pastry with egg wash and sprinkle generously with sea salt and pepper. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the pastry is nicely browned. Serve hot with extra mustard on the side.
