1 teaspoon butter, softened
2 slices bread

Steps:

  • Stir the peanut butter, honey, and butter together in a bowl until smooth; spread on 1 of the bread slices and sandwich with the other slice.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 large egg, room temperature
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup peanut butter
Grape jelly, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk egg, milk and peanut butter until smooth; stir into flour mixture just until combined. Pour into a greased 8x4-in. loaf pan. , Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 50-60 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. If desired, serve with jelly.

My family loves the combination of peanut butter, honey, and bananas, so I decided to make it into a bread. Make sure to use all natural peanut butter and feel free to add more chopped nuts or chocolate chips if you desire. This recipe works well for small loaves or muffins of any size.

2 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup peanut butter (chunky unsalted)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup honey
1 banana, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
  • Mix the peanut butter, milk, and honey in with the eggs.
  • Pour the flour mixture in and mix until no clumps remain.
  • Add in the chopped banana and mix to distribute it evenly.
  • Pour the batter into three small greased loaf pans.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup peanut butter (I use chunky)
1/2 cup honey
1 large egg
1 1/4 cups buttermilk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Butter and flour 9" x 5" loaf pan.
  • Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  • Beat peanut butter and honey together, then beat in egg and buttermilk.
  • Gradually stir in dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour into loaf pan and bake for approximately 45 minutes.

Delicious and better for you than the processed junk you can get in the grocery store. I've noticed there are no homemade peanut butter recipes, so I thought I'd share my own. Use in other recipes or add a touch of peanut oil to make it spreadable. Enjoy!

1 1/3 cups dry-roasted unsalted peanuts
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/4 cup honey
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Steps:

  • Place peanuts, salt, and cinnamon in a blender or food processor with metal blade inserted.
  • Cover and blend or process until spreadable (about 6 or 7 minutes).
  • Stop and scrape sides of blender/food processor and add in 1/4 cup of honey and blend until smooth and well-combined.
  • Store in a covered container in the refrigerator. It will keep for several months as long as it is kept refrigerated.
