8 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
10 chicken drummettes

Steps:

  • Combine garlic, honey, mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a non-reactive bowl.
  • Add chicken toss to coat each piece well.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least one hour or up to one day.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place chicken in a singe layer on a wire rack over an oven tray.
  • Bake 45 minutes until well browned and cooked through.
  • (The first time i made these i doubled the sauce and they turned out just fine!).

1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup DURKEE Hot Sauce
4 lb. chicken drumettes

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Mix mustard, honey and hot sauce in saucepan. Cook on low heat until heated through. Keep warm.
  • Arrange wings in single layer on foil-lined shallow baking pan.
  • Bake 20 to 30 min. or until wings are cooked through and golden brown. Toss wings with warm mustard sauce just before serving.

2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon dry mustard

4 lbs bone-in skin-on chicken drumsticks, trimmed
3/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup honey

Steps:

  • Coat inside of slow cooker with vegetable oil spray.
  • Mix sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper together; rub mixture evenly over chicken; transfer to slow cooker.
  • Mix dijon and honey in a bowl.
  • Pour 1/2 cup mixture over chicken and toss to coat; reserve remaining dijon mixture separately.
  • Cover and cook until chicken is tender, 4-6 hours.
  • Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 450°.
  • Place wire rack in foil-lined rimmed baking sheet and coat with vegetable oil spray.
  • Transfer chicken to prepared baking sheet; discard braising liquid.
  • Brush chicken with half of reserved Dijon mixture and broil until lightly charred and crisp, 10-15 minutes.
  • Flip chicken over, brush with remaining Dijon mixture, and continue to broil until lightly charred and crisp on second side, 10-15 minutes longer.

2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
3/4 teaspoon five-spice powder
3 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
1 garlic clove
1 teaspoon olive oil
toasted sesame seeds, to serve (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix through drumettes. Leave to marinade for 10 minutes.
  • Line the drumettes on a baking tray and cook for 20 minutes. (Drumsticks take a little more cooking time).
  • Sprinkle with seasame seeds, if desired.

Steps:

  • In 12x8-inch (2-quart) baking dish, combine honey, soy sauce, chili sauce, hot pepper sauce, ginger and dry mustard; mix well. Add drumettes; turn to coat. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour to marinate.

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
2 cups Dijon mustard
3/4 teaspoon turmeric

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°.
  • Boil the jalapenos in water for 5 minutes; drain, cool, discard stems and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, bring sugars and water to a boil.
  • Combine the jalapenos, sugar, honey, vinegar, mustard and turmeric in a blender and puree until smooth.
  • Toss chicken with 1/2 cup sauce; place on foil-lined, greased baking sheet; bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown, turning once or twice.
  • Serve with dipping sauce on the side.

1/4 c canola oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 c honey
1/2 c yellow mustard
1/4 c light mayonnaise
4 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp chopped parsley

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 425. Place chicken in lg bowl. Add oil, salt and pepper. Toss until evenly coated. Place chicken on a rimmed baking sheet.
  • 2. Bake chicken for 50 min, or until crispy, turning once while cooking.
  • 3. In lg bowl, combine remaining ingredients, mix well. Place cooked chicken in bowl w/ sauce. Toss to coat evenly. Return chicken to baking sheet and cook 10 mins more.
