HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS
Quick, easy and delicious chicken drumstick recipe. They are tender, juicy and full of flavor from a homemade honey garlic sauce that is brushed on them.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean up. Add a wire rack on top if possible.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add oil. When hot, stir in garlic and onions: cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add honey and soy sauce. Stir together the broth and cornstarch. Pour into pan and bring to a boil. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Pat chicken so it is dry. Place onto rack and season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Place into oven and cook for 10 minutes. Flip chicken and cook for another 10 minutes. Coat chicken with some sauce and cook for another 5 minutes. Flip one more time and coat the other side of the chicken. Cook for 5-10 minutes, or until chicken reaches 180 - 190 degrees F and juices run clean.
- Serve chicken with rice and steamed veggies if desired (and do not forget to pour on any extra sauce that is remaining!)

- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper or grease with cooking spray. Place chicken legs on pan and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until combined. Brush half of mixture over chicken.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then remove chicken from oven and brush remaining glaze over chicken. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- If desired, broil chicken legs under high heat for 2-4 minutes to get the skins extra crisp. Serve immediately.

- With the minced onions and pepper season the chicken.
- Next, pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker and place seasoned chicken on top.
- In a bowl add your honey, garlic, soy sauce, and mix well. Pour this mixture over your chicken.
- Set to low for 5-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked. Once the chicken is cooked remove from slow cooker. Mix the cornstarch and water together and stir into the sauce in slow cooker.
- Place chicken back into the slow cooker and turn to high for 20 minutes. This will thicken the sauce.
- When finished serve on a bed of rice if you would like and garnish.

- Put chicken legs, skin side up, on a foil covered baking sheet. In a bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. Pour half of this sauce into another bowl and set aside to use as a dipping sauce.
- Brush some of the remaining mixture onto each chicken leg. Bake for 40 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the drumsticks reads 170F (77C). Brush the chicken legs with sauce every 10 minutes during baking.
