10 Tablespoons butter
3 ounces Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons Unsweetened Hershey's Cocoa Powder
For the Cream Cheese Swirl
8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
pinch salt
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
Full Sized Hershey Bars, to top

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350. Prepare 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper long enough to hang over on two sides, making it easier to remove from pan once baked. Spray pan and paper. In small saucepot over medium heat, or in the microwave, melt chocolate and butter until smooth. Allow to cool slightly. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, vanilla with the sugar. Slowly add in chocolate mixture until well combined. In small bowl, sift together cocoa, salt and flour. Add mixture to rest of batter. Do not overmix. Pour batter into prepared baking pan. !For the Cream Cheese Swirl Beat ingredients together until smooth. Pour over brownie batter. Use sharp knife to swirl together. Bake 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes, or until just set and toothpick inserted comes out clean. Top with full sized hershey Bars and return to still warm (but off) oven until lightly melted. Allow to cool. Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired. Enjoy!

4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 egg
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
18 1/4 ounces brownie mix
1/4 cup water
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350. Grease bottom only of 9 inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, beat filling ingredients with electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Set aside.
  • Make brownie batter as directed on box.
  • Spread 3/4 of brownie batter in pan.
  • Spoon filling by tablespoonfuls evenly onto brownie batter.
  • Spoon remaining brownie batter over filling.
  • Cut through mixture with knife several times for marbled design.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Bake 40 to 44 minutes or until toothpick inserted in brownie 1 inch from side of pan comes out clean.
  • Cool completely, about 1 1/2 hours.
  • For 16 brownies, cut into 4 rows by 4 rows.
  • Store covered in refrigerator.

Who says beautiful desserts have to be hard to make? Not Betty! Thanks to Betty Crocker™ Supreme original brownie mix, these beautiful brownies with cream cheese look like fancy bakery treats, but they come together with just 15 minutes of prep work on your part.

3 oz (from 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1 egg, separated, yolk reserved for brownie batter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Supreme original brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
Reserved egg yolk
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom of 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray. In small bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar with spoon until smooth. Add flour, egg white and vanilla; mix until well blended. Set aside.
  • Make brownie batter as directed on box, adding reserved egg yolk. Reserve 1/2 cup brownie batter; set aside. Spread remaining batter in pan. Spoon filling by tablespoonful dollops evenly onto batter, making 3 rows by 3 rows. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the reserved brownie batter in center of each filling dollop. Draw knife through mixture in four straight lines horizontally, then vertically for swirled design. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Bake 28 to 32 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool 30 minutes on cooling rack. Refrigerate at least 1 hour until chilled. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.

2 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 c all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
CREAM CHEESE SWIRL AND TOPPING
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 c sugar
1 pinch salt
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
6 full size hershey bars

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 and spray 9X9 baking pan with cooking spray.
  • 2. In the microwave, melt chocolate and butter until smooth and set aside.
  • 3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and vanilla with the sugar. Slowly add in chocolate mixture until well combined.
  • 4. In a small bowl, sift together cocoa, salt and flour. Add mixture to the rest of batter.
  • 5. Pour batter into prepared baking pan.
  • 6. CREAM CHEESE SWIRL:
  • 7. Beat ingredients (except Hershey bars) together until smooth. Pour over brownie batter. Use sharp knife to swirl together.
  • 8. Bake 50 minutes to 1 hour or until just set and toothpick comes out clean. Top with Hershey bars and return to still warm (but off) oven until lightly melted. Allow to cool.
